MEMBERSHIP TYPES
SENIOR:
$200/year, $150 one-time initiation fee, 18 and older, includes voting rights, club limit: 2,000.
SPOUSE:
$20/year,  no voting rights, must have SENIOR member as spouse.
STUDENT:
$20/year, 18-21 years old, must be full-time student.
JUNIOR:
$10/year, 17 years old and younger.
LIFE:
No dues; 60 years old and older AND 20 years of continuous membership, subject to board approval.

APPLICATION PROCESS
The following process is identical for SENIOR, SPOUSE, JUNIOR & STUDENT memberships.

1. COMPLETE AN APPLICATION
Applications are available at the Clubhouse bar and office.
Application must not leave the premises, be completed on-site and signed by a member.
Application must be placed in an envelope (provided in the Clubhouse).
Senior member applications only: must include a non-refundable $50 deposit. (If approved for membership, this will be credited towards the one-time $150 initiation fee.)
Application (and deposit, if applicable ) must be left with the bartender or MSCI official for routing to the Membership Director.
NOTE: We are not currently collecting applicant information online. The Start the Process page is not currently active.

2. CONDITIONAL BOARD APPROVAL
Properly submitted applications will be presented at the first possible Board of Director’s meeting, usually the first Thursday of the month following an application’s submittal.

3. 30-DAY WAITING PERIOD
Applications receiving conditional Board approval will be posted on the Clubhouse bulletin board (PA LCB rule) until the next Board Meeting (approx. 30 days).

4. INVITATION TO JOIN
Applications receiving conditional approval and clearing the 30 day waiting period will be invited to join MSCI at the next General Membership meeting, usually at 6:30 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month.

5. NEW MEMBER PROCESSING
Approved members will be notified by mail and invited to join at the next General Membership meeting, held the last Thursday of each month.
Senior member applicants must pay the $100 balance of their initiation fee and (non-prorated) $105 annual dues—total due: $205.
Spouse, Junior and Student applicants must pay their respective (non-prorated) annual dues.
All new members will be given (must attend) new member orientation.
Membership cards will be issued by the Membership Director.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP
The application process for Life membership consists of submitting a written request to the Membership Director. The Board will decide whether or not to approve Life Membership, based on the aforementioned criteria. The Membership Director is also authorized to approve qualifying members without their written request.
